Senior Electrical Design Leader

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Leader to drive the technical content of large‑scale customer projects. You will act as the single point of contact for all technical matters, ensuring that customer requirements are met on performance, quality, cost and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and approve basic and detailed electrical designs for integrated solutions, aligning with contract and customer specifications.
• Coordinate a multi‑disciplinary technical team (designers, engineers, subcontractors) across sites and countries.
• Monitor technical costs, keep the design budget under control and ensure delivery according to the project plan.
• Manage technical risks, interfaces and change requests, and obtain final customer approval for the solution.
• Oversee implementation activities, including testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and final hand‑over.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading electrical design projects in an international environment.
• Strong understanding of contract compliance, performance specifications and cost control.
• Ability to act as the main technical liaison between the customer, internal teams and suppliers.
• Excellent coordination skills with project managers, procurement and other functional groups.
