Front-End Engineer – Remote (Tech Marketplace)

About the role

HireLago is building a global talent marketplace that connects top tech professionals with leading companies. As a Front-End Engineer, you will create responsive, accessible, and high‑performance user interfaces that bring design concepts to life while collaborating with back‑end engineers, designers, and product managers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive, accessible UI components using modern front‑end frameworks.
• Translate Figma mockups into clean, reusable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript code.
• Build and maintain component libraries and design systems.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Optimize performance through code splitting, lazy loading, caching, and asset optimization.
• Write unit and integration tests for front‑end components.
• Participate in code reviews and influence front‑end architecture decisions.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and adherence to WCAG standards.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong eye for UI detail and commitment to polished user experiences.
• Ability to work remotely and collaborate across distributed teams.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with React, Vue.js or Angular.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Consuming REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Version control with Git.
• Familiarity with Next.js or Nuxt.js (SSR/SSG).
• State‑management libraries such as Redux, Zustand or Pinia.
• Testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library or Cypress.
• Web performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
• CI/CD pipeline exposure.
• Design‑system tools like Figma or Storybook.
