About the role
The Industrial Automation Engineer will join Simtech Solution’s Skopje office to design, implement and optimise automation systems for manufacturing customers. The role focuses on creating reliable, efficient control solutions that improve production performance while ensuring safety and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop control strategies and configure/program PLCs, HMIs and SCADA platforms.
- Test, commission and troubleshoot automation equipment on‑site.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and produce technical documentation.
- Support existing installations, recommend upgrades and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or a related field.
- Proven experience with industrial automation projects or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read and create electrical schematics, drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, communication and teamwork abilities.
Required skills
- PLC programming and configuration.
- HMI and SCADA system integration.
- Control loop tuning.
- Robotics cell configuration and programming.
- Electrical power systems and control circuit design.
- Instrumentation and measurement.
- Troubleshooting of equipment and control systems.
