Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep AWS expertise to join Proxify’s fast‑growing remote network. You will design, build and maintain robust cloud infrastructure, create efficient CI/CD pipelines and ensure secure, scalable deployments for multi‑tier applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage AWS‑based infrastructure to meet performance, reliability and scalability goals.
• Develop, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines using modern tooling.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.
• Containerise applications and orchestrate workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents and ensure security compliance using CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus and related tools.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to support continuous delivery and DevSecOps practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional DevOps experience, primarily on AWS.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Hands‑on experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of networking, security and application architecture.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Based in the CET timezone (± 3 hours).
