Site Supervisor - Concrete Structures

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a Site Supervisor for the Concrete Structures discipline on the North Macedonia Motorway Project. The role involves supervising and directing all concrete construction activities, including piling, foundations, formwork, and pre‑stressed concrete casting, to ensure compliance with specifications, schedule, and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site concrete structure operations, coordinating joint‑venture teams, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
• Direct craft activities, monitor quality, and enforce health, safety and environmental standards.
• Validate design issues, review structural submittals and propose alternative solutions when required.
• Manage material requisitions, schedule manpower, and track progress against the project program.
• Conduct regular quality checks, coordinate with statutory agencies and ensure adherence to approved design and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with 8‑10 years of relevant experience, or 12‑14 years of equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience supervising subcontractors and direct‑hire workforces on large‑scale concrete construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry quality requirements, inspection planning and contract administration.
• Ability to produce accurate formal reports and communicate effectively within a team‑based environment.
