Customer Sales Representative (Transportation Brokerage)

About the role

HMD Transport, a freight brokerage based in Chicago, is expanding its team in Skopje. The Customer Sales Representative will build and nurture business relationships to drive profitability and customer satisfaction within the transportation sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers using industry tools and relationships.
• Maintain existing accounts while increasing margin and volume to meet personal targets.
• Provide accurate quotes and up‑to‑date information to customers.
• Track and verify the status of customer bids.
• Deliver timely load updates to customers.
• Collaborate with Operations and Carrier Sales teams to ensure quality results.
• Monitor market trends and seasonal patterns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 1‑2 years of sales experience in the transportation industry.
• Knowledge of truckload lanes and rates.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Service‑oriented with effective customer interaction skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and high motivation toward sales goals.
• Enthusiastic, persistent, and confident approach.
