Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist

About the role

Join Hornetsecurity’s Threat Intelligence Lab in Skopje as a full‑time Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist. You will turn raw threat data into actionable insights that protect our clients and keep our intelligence platform up to date.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the management of threat intelligence within the CTI platform, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• Develop and maintain processes and procedures for threat intelligence collection and analysis.
• Continuously monitor open‑source, commercial, and internal feeds to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Provide actionable intelligence to incident‑response teams and other stakeholders.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new tools and technologies to enhance threat‑intel capabilities.
• Produce detailed reports and briefings for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Represent Hornetsecurity at industry events and collaborate with external cybersecurity communities.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of core cybersecurity concepts, including the CIA triad, vulnerability management, and APTs.
• Deep knowledge of threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and ability to spot recurring patterns.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Experience with threat intelligence platforms such as OpenCTI, MISP or ThreatConnect.
• Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Solid grasp of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS) and packet analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM solutions like Splunk and QRadar.
