Freelance Author & Editor for Investment Migration Content

About the role

Immigrant Invest is seeking an experienced English‑speaking freelance author and editor to join its editorial team. You will create and refine long‑form articles, guides and website content focused on investment‑migration programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Write and update comprehensive articles, guides and other web content related to citizenship‑by‑investment and residence‑by‑investment.
• Transform AI‑generated drafts into accurate, natural, and engaging human‑written pieces.
• Edit articles for structure, logic, clarity, flow, tone and wording before publication.
• Identify and rewrite common AI patterns such as generic phrasing, repetition, unsupported claims and excessive hedging.
• Research and fact‑check figures, dates, programme requirements and eligibility criteria using reliable official sources.
• Optimize content for readability and SEO performance, including headings, meta descriptions and internal links.
• Collaborate in Google Docs using comments and suggestion mode, incorporating feedback from editors and subject‑matter experts.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native English proficiency (C1+ level).
• At least one year of professional writing and editing experience.
• Proven ability to edit long‑form content and transform AI drafts into engaging copy.
• Strong fact‑checking and online research skills.
• Basic knowledge of SEO copywriting principles.
• Reliable, deadline‑oriented and able to work independently across time zones.

Required skills

• Google Docs for collaborative editing.
• SEO copywriting techniques (headings, keyword placement, meta descriptions).
• Use of AI writing tools and prompt refinement.
