Full Stack Engineer – Web Applications & AI Tools

About the role

BIMCAD Studio is looking for an analytical and proactive Software Developer to support the development, stabilisation, and expansion of its web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, good technical reasoning, and the ability to make effective use of modern AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Research, plan, and identify the best technical solutions for existing issues and new feature developments.
• Use agentic AI tools such as Manus to build and improve web applications, write effective prompts, and manage AI‑driven workflows.
• Test and validate AI‑generated features and application changes to ensure they meet business requirements.
• Investigate and resolve application issues, including crashes, bugs, and unexpected behaviour.
• Develop and maintain features across the web application using Node.js, Express.js, React, tRPC, Drizzle, and MySQL.
• Improve internal tools and applications to increase colleagues’ efficiency.
• Support colleagues with software‑related challenges and identify automation opportunities.
• Understand the Node.js environment and how different parts of an application interact.
• Plan and prioritise tasks to deliver reliable solutions and new features.
• Collaborate with the lead developer to plan future improvements and shape the development process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in software development.
• Good understanding of web application concepts and the interaction between front‑end, back‑end and databases.
• Familiarity with the stack: Node.js, Express.js, React, MySQL; experience with tRPC or Drizzle is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and critical assessment of AI‑generated solutions.
• Interest in improving internal processes and building tools for colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work independently.
