Human Resources Assistant (Remote, Entry Level)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Human Resources Assistant to join our multinational BPO team. This fully remote, entry‑level position offers the chance to learn HR fundamentals while supporting daily HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and help design HR policies and procedures.
• Assist with day‑to‑day HR department operations.
• Answer employee queries and resolve HR‑related issues.
• Track sick leave and vacation balances.
• Conduct onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
• Organise company initiatives, events, and culture‑building activities.
• Handle office‑management tasks and compile data for statistical reporting.
• Collect, process, and prepare data for salary calculations and update employee legal‑status information.
• Maintain confidential records in line with HR procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics, HR‑related field, or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Fluent in Croatian.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proactive mindset with a drive to improve processes.
• Ability to identify problems, gather data, and make fact‑based recommendations.
