Junior Process Engineer (shift work)

About the role

As a Junior Process Engineer you will ensure the safe, stable and efficient operation of highly automated production lines in the pharmaceutical sector. Working on shift, you will collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to maintain high quality standards and continuously improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guarantee uninterrupted operation of automated production equipment.
• Adjust process parameters to achieve consistent product quality and safety.
• Participate in commissioning of new equipment and processes.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Detect, analyse and resolve technical issues on high‑automation lines.
• Work with vision systems to identify defects and optimise line performance.
• Propose technical improvements to reduce downtime and increase safety.
• Document and standardise technical solutions; train and share knowledge with the team.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and uphold quality standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Required profile

• Higher education in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Experience with automated production lines is a plus.
• Ability to read technical documentation such as machine drawings, pneumatic and electrical schematics.
• Understanding of automated processes and control systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem solving.
• Proficiency with standard computer tools.
