Junior Process Engineer (shift work)

About the role

As a Junior Process Engineer you will ensure the safe, stable and efficient operation of highly automated production lines in the pharmaceutical industry. Working closely with engineering and production teams, you will help improve process performance, maintain high quality standards and support the reliable operation of automated equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain stable and safe operation of production equipment and automated lines.
• Monitor equipment performance, adjust process parameters and take corrective actions to ensure consistent product quality.
• Participate in commissioning of new equipment and processes.
• Detect, analyse and resolve technical problems in processes and equipment, both independently and as part of a team.
• Work with vision systems and propose technical improvements to reduce downtime and increase safety.
• Identify optimisation opportunities, document and standardise technical solutions.
• Contribute to training activities and knowledge transfer within the team.
• Adhere to all safety rules and support high quality standards in pharmaceutical production.

Required profile

• Higher education in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Experience with automated production lines is a plus.
• Ability to read technical documentation such as machine drawings, pneumatic and electrical schematics.
• Understanding of automated processes and control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
