Manager, Specialist Sales – South Eastern Europe

About the role

Mastercard’s SME segment helps banks, fintechs and ecosystems digitize B2B payments and deliver value‑added services for small and medium enterprises. As Manager, Specialist Sales – South‑Eastern Europe you will act as the subject‑matter expert for commercial execution across financial institutions, fintechs and alternative distribution channels, driving new payment flows and service revenue in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Localize and drive Mastercard’s SME vision across South‑Eastern Europe, partnering with banks, fintechs, acquirers and ISVs.
• Develop go‑to‑market strategies with the Customer Solutions Center, account managers and business development teams, and own sales execution for the cluster.
• Maintain a robust, accurately staged Salesforce pipeline, own senior‑level engagement with issuers, acquirers and platform partners, and deliver measurable outcomes (GDV, net revenue, wins).
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (product, pricing, legal, marketing) to unblock complex deals and ensure successful post‑launch adoption.

Required profile

• Proven experience in payments, banking, fintech or related B2B services with a track record of sales ownership and portfolio growth.
• Strong account‑management and consultative selling capabilities, supported by analytical and project‑leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• Fluent English; South‑Eastern European languages strongly preferred.
