Manual QA Engineer – Intermediate

About the role

Aristocrat, a leading provider of technology solutions for the iGaming industry, is looking for a detail‑oriented Intermediate Quality Assurance Engineer. You will own manual testing across complex web‑based products and enterprise platforms, collaborating with developers, product managers and analysts to identify risks, validate requirements and support product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Review product requirements, user stories and technical specifications to define test conditions and identify gaps.
• Design, maintain and execute detailed test scenarios, cases and checklists for functional, integration, regression, end‑to‑end and exploratory testing.
• Log, reproduce, prioritize and track defects using the designated defect‑tracking system, and verify fixes.
• Perform testing across multiple browsers, devices, environments and system integrations.
• Analyze production incidents and customer‑reported issues, providing troubleshooting support and recommendations for additional test coverage.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in manual software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of testing principles, QA methodologies, test design techniques and defect management.
• Experience testing web‑based applications and enterprise platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Test management tools such as TestRail.
• Defect‑tracking and collaboration tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• REST API testing using Postman or Swagger.
• Basic SQL for data validation.
• Browser developer tools for issue investigation.
