Marketing Analytics Consultant Trainee

About the role

DEPT is a growth-invention company that blends technology and marketing, with specialists across Brand & Media, Experience, Commerce, CRM and Technology & Data. Its DEPT/DATA AI EMEA traineeship is a four-month, on-the-job programme based in Skopje, hybrid. You join the Analytics team on day one and work on real client projects within your first weeks, learning client-side and server-side tracking, the main analytics platforms and cloud data in BigQuery.

Key responsibilities

• Work on live client projects from the start, with brands such as Zalando, Stokke, Nikon and Lufthansa, taking on more ownership each month
• Learn how data is measured, collected, processed and used, building strong data foundations for clients
• Take part in masterclasses run by analytics experts on the tools and methods used with clients
• Be guided by a named senior consultant who plans your week, reviews your work and is accountable for your progress

Required profile

• Degree in a quantitative, business, marketing or technical field, or completion of one by February 2027
• Preferably some experience in digital marketing, programming, data or analytics (student job, internship or up to around one year full-time)
• Clear written and spoken English, curiosity about how websites and apps collect data, and a proactive attitude

Required skills

• Hands-on familiarity with Google Analytics and/or Google Tag Manager
• Basic SQL and confidence with spreadsheets
• Nice to have: Google Analytics certification, exposure to BigQuery or Google Cloud Platform, HTML/JavaScript or Python, experience with a consent management platform or another analytics tool such as Adobe Analytics, agency experience
