MP&L Manager - Central Material Planning and Logistics

About the role

Lear, a global automotive technology leader in seating and e-systems, is expanding its operations in Skopje and is looking for an MP&L Manager. The role sits in the central Material Planning and Logistics group and ensures that strategic material planning processes support operational and production continuity. The manager leads a central material planning team and works closely with internal and external parties to make sure materials are supplied to meet production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce and implement internal strategic materials systems and procedures to meet customer requirements.
• Analyze customer schedules to identify demand and potential constraints, and coordinate material supply into the plant to support manufacturing build.
• Oversee storage and supply of materials in the plant and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Manage risk, escalations and ERP/MRP parameters, and define KPIs, monitor them and set action plans.
• Keep stock accurate in the ERP system and ensure seamless launches without material-related disruptions.
• Coordinate engineering-level changes for maximum traceability and minimum stock loss.
• Work with Manufacturing, Quality, HR and Finance, and manage and develop suppliers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in material planning, supply chain, logistics or production planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading teams and managing end-to-end material planning and inventory processes.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities across functions.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, inventory control and demand planning.
• Supplier management.
