Sales Engineer - Microsoft

About the role

Join Ingram Micro’s Unified Support team as a Sales Engineer focused on Microsoft solutions. You will be the frontline expert helping partners and customers quickly resolve technical issues across Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound sales and support requests for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
• Investigate outages, performance problems, and configuration incidents, delivering Tier 1‑2 support and escalating complex cases.
• Restore services through fixes, work‑arounds, or configuration adjustments and document incidents and resolutions.
• Collaborate with Microsoft and internal teams, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and documentation.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in technical or sales support, cloud support, or similar roles.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills with a customer‑first mindset.
• Ability to prioritize multiple incidents in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with Azure Portal and Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
• Experience with ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of mail flow diagnostics and identity/access management (MFA, federation, sync).
• Exposure to Azure monitoring and diagnostic tools.
