Salesforce Developer

About the role

As a Salesforce Developer at Slice you will be at the core of building, extending, and evolving the company’s Salesforce platform that powers sales, service, marketing and operations. You will translate complex business requirements into elegant, scalable technical solutions that impact teams across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Visualforce.
• Build and maintain integrations with third‑party systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms and event‑driven architecture.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs in collaboration with administrators and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain automated flows, triggers, batch jobs and scheduled processes.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards and ensure performance, security and maintainability.
• Support release management including version control, sandbox management and deployments using Salesforce DX and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in architectural reviews and contribute to platform strategy and roadmap planning.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve technical issues across the Salesforce org.
• Produce clear technical documentation such as design specs, data flow diagrams and runbooks.
• Mentor junior developers and administrators, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering custom solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Ability to work closely with Salesforce Administrators, business stakeholders and other technical teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
