Senior Performance Copywriter

About the role

CapsLock is seeking a Senior Performance Copywriter to create persuasive, conversion‑driven copy for B2C acquisition campaigns. The role focuses on landing pages, ads, video scripts and other funnel assets, working closely with marketing, creative and testing teams to boost conversion rates.

Key responsibilities

• Create conversion‑focused copy for cold‑traffic campaigns across landing pages, paid ads, video scripts, advertorials, forms, CTAs and other funnel assets.
• Research products, customers, competitors, markets and advertising trends to uncover new messaging opportunities.
• Develop headlines, hooks, offers, value propositions and translate technical features into clear customer benefits.
• Ensure advertising claims are accurate, supportable and compliant with client and platform requirements.
• Produce copy variations for structured A/B testing, analyze performance and iterate based on results.
• Share successful concepts and learnings across clients, products and industries.
• Collaborate with marketers, designers, video editors, media buyers and other team members.
• Leverage AI tools to improve research, ideation, analysis and production efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in direct‑response, performance or advertising copywriting.
• Native‑level English with strong command of grammar, proofreading and consistency.
• Proven ability to write landing pages, paid ads and performance creative for cold audiences.
• Demonstrated skill in researching unfamiliar products, markets and customer segments.
• Experience managing multiple clients, niches and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to interpret marketing performance data and use it to improve copy.
• High execution speed, strong attention to detail and on‑time delivery.
