Software Engineering Internship – Backend, Frontend, Data Engineering

About the role

HTEC Group is offering a 4‑week Software Engineering Internship at its Skopje office. Selected students will work on real‑world projects in backend development (Java), frontend development (React) or data engineering, applying clean‑code principles and modular architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test software components under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with a small team to deliver functional features for client projects.
• Write maintainable, scalable code and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to data pipelines, APIs or user interfaces depending on the assigned track.
• Attend scheduled assessments, interviews and mentorship sessions throughout the program.

Required profile

• 4th‑year undergraduate or postgraduate student at FINKI (Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering).
• Available to work full‑time on‑site in Skopje for the entire 4‑week period.
• Basic programming knowledge and a strong motivation to learn and solve practical problems.

Required skills

• Java (for backend track)
• React (for frontend track)
• Fundamentals of data engineering (e.g., data pipelines, SQL, Python)
