Account Strategist – Shopify Focus

About the role

We are seeking an Account Strategist who will own the performance of a single short‑term‑rental client’s Shopify store. You will manage day‑to‑day operations, coordinate cross‑functional teams and drive marketing initiatives while keeping the account ahead of upcoming needs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the Shopify store – products, collections, pricing, orders and stock levels.
• Monitor inventory, flag low stock and manage supplier delays.
• Plan and support marketing campaigns, launches and promotions.
• Brief design and content teams and ensure deliverables go live.
• Oversee the account team, keeping everyone aligned on next steps.
• Handle administrative tasks such as email, documents, supplier communication and order tracking.
• Track costs and organise financial data (non‑accounting role).
• Monitor the website for issues and address them proactively.

Required profile

• Proven experience running a Shopify store, including product and order management.
• Background supporting marketing campaigns, launches or promotions.
• Experience with inventory, stock or SKU management.
• Comfort with administrative duties like supplier coordination and invoice handling.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Previous work in a startup or small team covering multiple roles is a plus.
