Accounts Receivable Accountant

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Accountant will join AY Trucking’s finance team in Skopje, working full‑time on‑site from 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday‑Friday. The role focuses on accurate invoicing, timely collection of payments and maintaining clean receivable records to support the company’s logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and post customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
• Record incoming payments and reconcile them against open invoices.
• Monitor customer accounts, follow up on overdue balances and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Prepare regular reports on receivables, cash flow and collection performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to clarify payment terms and status.
• Support month‑end closing activities and contribute to continuous improvement of billing and collection processes.

Required profile

• Strong accounting and finance background with experience in accounts‑receivable processes.
• Proven ability to create, post and reconcile invoices.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data and identify discrepancies.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, organized and capable of handling multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Previous experience in logistics or transportation accounting is a plus.
• Relevant post‑secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
