Afterhours and Maintenance Professional

About the role

The Afterhours and Maintenance Professional is a full-time, hybrid position based in Skopje, with the flexibility to perform some duties from home. The role oversees afterhours operations, including monitoring trucks, coordinating responses to breakdowns and resolving issues quickly with drivers and customers. It works closely with dispatch, mechanics and management to minimise downtime and keep the fleet reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor trucks and coordinate responses to breakdowns
• Communicate with drivers and customers to resolve issues promptly
• Track equipment status daily
• Schedule and follow up on maintenance and repairs
• Ensure safety and compliance standards are met
• Prepare basic reports and update systems with maintenance activities
• Support continuous improvement of procedures

Required profile

• At least 6 months of experience
• Experience in vehicle or fleet maintenance coordination, including scheduling repairs, tracking service history and talking to repair vendors or mechanics
• Strong organisational and coordination skills, able to handle several issues and priorities at once
• Effective communication with drivers, customers and internal teams
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make sound decisions in time-sensitive situations
• Comfort with hybrid work, including reliable internet and a suitable home workspace

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer and administrative tasks, such as tracking software, keeping logs and writing status reports
• Salary of $1500+ plus benefits, depending on experience
