Android Developer (Kotlin)

About the role

In partnership with a major French banking group, we are building a team located in Bulgaria and North Macedonia, starting with an opening for an Android Developer. You will design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Build scalable, reliable, and user‑friendly mobile solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, QA, and backend teams.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions.
• Troubleshoot, test, and optimize application performance.
• Stay up to date with the latest Android technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of commercial Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Solid knowledge of the Android SDK, with hands‑on experience in Jetpack Compose and/or XML layouts.
• Experience with architectural patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs (e.g., Retrofit, OkHttp).
• Experience with unit and UI testing (JUnit, Espresso).
• Proficiency with Git and code review workflows.
