Business Consultant – On-Site Skopje

About the role

Independent Consultant is a flexible advisory practice that delivers tailored business solutions to clients across industries, with a focus on independent, objective analysis to improve performance, optimise financial results and refine strategy. The Business Consultant works on-site in Skopje under a contract arrangement, collaborating directly with clients to assess business challenges and develop practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct business and financial analyses and gather and interpret data.
• Map processes, identify opportunities for improvement and advise stakeholders on operational and strategic decisions.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings, and prepare reports and presentations.
• Support the implementation of recommended strategies.
• Coordinate with client teams, manage project timelines and deliverables, and ensure engagements meet agreed objectives, scope and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Management or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g. MBA, consulting or finance credentials) are an advantage.
• Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders in a consulting, advisory or analytical role.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and adapt to changing client needs in an on-site environment.
• Professional integrity, problem-solving mindset and commitment to inclusive practices.

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and support evidence-based recommendations.
• Proficiency in consulting and management consulting to structure engagements and design solutions.
• Solid understanding of finance, including financial statements, performance assessment and budgeting or investment decisions.
• Effective communication to present findings and build client relationships.
• Proficiency with productivity and analysis tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization or reporting tools.
