Compliance Officer

About the role

ProCredit Bank Macedonia is expanding its compliance team. The Compliance Officer will ensure that the bank’s operations remain aligned with regulatory requirements and best‑practice standards, contributing to a robust governance framework.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the banking sector and assess their impact on the bank.
• Identify, evaluate and help mitigate compliance risks.
• Develop, maintain and improve compliance policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of regulations.
• Conduct compliance reviews and controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Coordinate communication with regulatory authorities and prepare regular reports for supervisory bodies and ProCredit Holding.
• Support monitoring and reporting of contractual obligations and covenants with institutional investors.
• Deliver compliance‑related training and awareness activities across the bank.

Required profile

• University degree in Law or Economics.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to interpret regulatory requirements.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English.
• Strong command of MS Office applications.
