Engineering Manager II

About the role

RLDatix is seeking a Skopje‑based Engineering Manager II to lead multiple technical teams and deliver high‑impact solutions that align with business strategy. You will translate organisational engineering strategies into actionable plans, allocate resources, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Translate organisational engineering strategies into actionable plans and allocate resources across multiple teams.
• Facilitate collaboration between engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Apply in‑depth technical expertise across software, infrastructure, and cloud domains to guide teams.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges, analysing operational data and workflow metrics.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability practices.
• Drive high‑quality delivery through automated testing pipelines, reduce technical debt, and mentor engineering talent.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience leading multiple engineering teams (10‑25 engineers) with resource allocation and budget planning.
• Broad technical background across software, infrastructure, and cloud; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Leadership, architecture, or cloud certifications are a plus.
• Experience operating in a regulated environment with knowledge of security, governance, risk, and compliance.
• Proven ability to translate functional engineering strategies into operational initiatives.
• Advanced proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex technical challenges using modern DevOps practices.
