Experienced Carrier Sales Broker

About the role

Freightbull Logistics is expanding its carrier network in North America and seeks an experienced Carrier Sales Broker to join the Skopje office. You will be responsible for sourcing truck capacity, negotiating rates, and ensuring seamless freight movements for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Source and secure truck capacity for customer shipments.
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers and owner‑operators.
• Negotiate rates to maximize profitability while meeting service standards.
• Manage freight from pickup to delivery, resolving issues proactively.
• Monitor market conditions, carrier availability, and update load statuses in the TMS.
• Verify carrier compliance, insurance, safety ratings, and onboarding requirements.
• Identify and prevent fraud, double brokering, and other carrier‑related risks.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and operations teams to ensure timely communication.
• Develop new carrier relationships to grow the network.
• Achieve weekly and monthly performance targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of the North American trucking industry.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment handling multiple shipments.
• Fluent written and verbal English.

Required skills

• Experience with load boards such as DAT and Truckstop.
• Familiarity with carrier onboarding platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using transportation management or TMS software.
