Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Controller to join LAUTEC’s finance team in Skopje. The role is full‑time and will involve hands‑on management of day‑to‑day finance operations across the LAUTEC Group’s global offices while progressively focusing on data quality and system integration.

Key responsibilities

• Support bookkeeping and invoicing across LAUTEC Group companies, handling invoice processing and payments.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist financial control across entities, coordinating with accountants to meet regulatory standards.
• Generate financial reports and analyse performance, expenditures and profitability for decision‑making.
• Help develop and maintain budgets and forecasts under the guidance of the Head of Finance.
• Support the structure, accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems and participate in data‑flow integration projects.
• Drive continuous improvement in the finance function, especially around data management and system integration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Information Systems or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial controlling, accounting or finance operations, preferably in an international or multi‑entity environment.
• Hands‑on approach to daily finance tasks combined with a structured way of working.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently across borders and time zones.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic automation).
• Experience with ERP/accounting platforms such as E‑conomic or Business Central.
