Fleet Maintenance Manager

About the role

Prestige Hauling seeks an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance and repair operations of its U.S.-based semi‑truck and trailer fleet. This hands‑on position requires deep knowledge of heavy‑duty trucks, preventive maintenance, and cost‑control strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and repairs for semi‑trucks and trailers.
• Monitor and enforce preventive maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose mechanical issues remotely with drivers and determine repair strategies.
• Coordinate roadside repairs, towing, dealerships, and external repair facilities.
• Review repair estimates and invoices, challenging unnecessary charges.
• Oversee warranty repairs and liaise with manufacturers.
• Track recurring mechanical problems and implement downtime‑reduction initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and monitor costs per vehicle.
• Coordinate tire replacement and overall tire management.
• Collaborate with Safety, Dispatch, Operations, and drivers to ensure DOT compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fleet maintenance, heavy‑duty trucking, or diesel repair.
• Strong knowledge of semi‑trucks, trailers, and related systems.
• Ability to work directly with U.S. drivers and vendors.
• Excellent English communication and organizational skills.
