Front-End Lead Engineer

About the role

As a Front‑End Lead Engineer you will drive the creation of high‑quality, scalable front‑end solutions for Deltatre’s OTT delivery platform, used by millions of sports fans worldwide. The role is hands‑on, combining architecture design, coding, and mentorship while working in a hybrid setting with at least one day per week in the Skopje office.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all front‑end engineering aspects of assigned projects, ensuring robust, secure, high‑performing, and accessible solutions.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate front‑end development activities, providing technical assessments and estimations.
• Review and validate code quality, enforce best practices, coding standards, and performance benchmarks.
• Identify and resolve technical blockers, drive adoption of automation, modern tooling, and efficient workflows.
• Mentor and coach engineers, support onboarding, and contribute to recruitment.
• Collaborate with Technical Directors and Product Owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for customers and stakeholders, communicating progress and risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading front‑end teams and delivering large‑scale applications.
• Strong ability to shape front‑end architecture and set engineering standards.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non‑technical audiences.
