Full Stack Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑to‑senior Full Stack Data Engineer to own a focused data platform and drive a major application migration. You will replace legacy reporting SQL and MySQL views with an extensible Amazon Redshift warehouse, redirect replication pipelines, and rebuild a PHP decision‑support interface as a modern React application.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an Amazon Redshift data warehouse that supersedes existing MySQL reporting views.
• Migrate or shut down third‑party replication tools (e.g., Skyvia) so analytical data lands directly in Redshift.
• Re‑engineer the decision‑support front end from PHP to React within the client portal.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define metrics, dimensions, and decision‑making requirements.
• Document and rationalise the existing complex data estate without halting delivery.
• Operate AWS resources safely using the Cursor workflow for code, infrastructure, and pipeline management.

Required profile

• Mid‑level to senior professional with strong technical depth across data engineering, backend, cloud, and frontend development.
• Comfortable taking ownership of ambiguous, complex problems and delivering pragmatic solutions.
• Based in Macedonia and able to work remotely full‑time.
