Internal Auditor – Insurance

About the role

We are looking for an Internal Auditor to join our finance team in Skopje. You will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of our financial and operational controls, compliance with regulations, and alignment with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document internal audit engagements across finance and operations.
• Review financial transactions, processes and controls to identify gaps and risks.
• Assess compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare clear, structured audit reports and present findings to management.
• Collaborate with finance, underwriting and other departments to communicate results and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability and objective evaluation of financial data.
• Experience in finance and financial audits with solid accounting knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• Certified Auditor License; professional certifications such as CIA, CPA or ACCA are a plus.
• Knowledge of insurance industry practices and regulations is beneficial.
• High integrity, attention to detail and ability to work independently under deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with audit or financial software tools.
