Java Backend Developer (Remote)

About the role

Join BairesDev’s Development Team as a Java Backend Developer, working remotely on high‑impact projects for global clients. You will solve complex problems, design robust services, and help shape the technical direction of our applications.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with software teams to gather requirements and enforce best practices.
• Design, implement, and support solutions for application development, security, analytics, and performance management.
• Follow industry and Verizon security coding standards, including Fortify scans and other security reviews.
• Conduct code reviews for junior developers and peer reviews to ensure architectural compliance.
• Run test scripts to guarantee quality delivery and resolve code issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands‑on experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms.
• Advanced understanding of algorithms, IT infrastructure, and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in SOLID principles, clean code, design patterns, and building applications from scratch.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
• Advanced English communication skills.
