Junior Compliance Executive

About the role

GDPRLocal is looking for a Junior Compliance Executive to join its fast‑growing compliance team in Skopje. You will work directly with a portfolio of around 1,000 international clients, helping them meet GDPR and broader data‑protection obligations through the company’s SaaS platform. This entry‑level position offers a clear career path toward senior compliance roles, supported by training and professional certification.

Key responsibilities

• Review client data‑protection and GDPR documentation for accuracy, completeness and alignment with internal standards.
• Draft policies, risk assessments and client‑facing guidance related to data protection.
• Complete client questionnaires and conduct third‑party reviews of suppliers, software and other vendors.
• Provide written and verbal support for client queries, including calls and email correspondence.
• Research emerging regulatory developments and client‑specific needs.
• Assist senior team members on larger GDPR projects and consultancy engagements.
• Manage tasks in Asana and use the GDPRLocal portal to deliver compliance work.

Required profile

• Previous experience with compliance or legal matters, preferably in data protection or GDPR.
• Excellent written and spoken English, as most communication is client‑facing.
• Proven ability to communicate with business clients in a professional manner.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new software tools.
