Mechanical Tool Maker (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Mechanical Tool Maker you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance and optimisation of injection‑moulding tools used in the production of pharmaceutical and cosmetic packaging. You will work independently on tool complaints, ensuring that moulds meet internal quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, re‑assemble and repair injection moulds according to documented procedures.
• Perform manual bench work such as spotting, measuring, grinding, lathe and milling operations.
• Record dimensional changes in technical drawings and update CAD files.
• Identify wear on tools or components, replace defective parts and re‑work moulds as needed.
• Test repaired tools and verify performance against specifications.
• Inspect machines and production systems, diagnose faults and replace consumables following maintenance plans.
• Enforce safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechatronics, industrial mechanics or tool maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
• Proven experience repairing injection moulds, preferably for plastic, medical‑device or pharmaceutical packaging.
• Secondary‑school diploma or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Maintenance.
• Business‑fluent Macedonian and fluent English; German is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international, multicultural environment.
