Media Business Development Manager

About the role

DesignRush.com, a B2B media platform, is looking for a Media Business Development Manager to drive brand exposure and sell media packages. The role is fully remote and focuses on generating new business through an established network of media contacts.

Key responsibilities

• Generate qualified leads and close yearly retainers for media and exposure packages.
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, closing, and relationship management.
• Set and report on monthly and quarterly sales targets to the executive team.
• Sell contributor columns, PR campaigns, newsletters, podcast features, digital PR, and social media exposure packages.
• Build trusted partnerships, increase client retention, and grow revenue over time.
• Maintain pipeline activity in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales operations teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in media sales with a well‑established industry network.
• Proven ability to leverage relationships to generate and close new business.
• Strong analytical, proactive, and growth‑mindset attitude.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience working in cross‑functional teams and a strong customer‑focus.
• Reliable computer, stable internet connection, and ability to work EST hours.
