Network Engineer – 24/7 TSOC Shift

About the role

This full‑time position is based in North Macedonia and joins the Technology and Security Operations Centre (TSOC) of PXC, the UK’s leading value‑for‑money connectivity provider. Working on a 12‑hour shift pattern, you will help keep voice and data services running securely and reliably 24/7, 365 days a year.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, respond to and resolve voice and data service incidents across Layer 2 and Layer 3 products, including copper, fibre, Ethernet circuits, managed CPEs and firewalls.
• Escalate complex network and security incidents to subject‑matter experts while adhering to established processes and KPIs.
• Perform technical analysis, implement changes and restore services for customers and internal colleagues.
• Document faults and incidents with detailed technical and non‑technical explanations, tracking progress and resolution.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to minimise impact and improve service reliability.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot network and security issues under pressure.
• Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment, preferably in shift work.
• Good communication skills for clear stakeholder updates.
