About the role

As a Process Technician (Automation) at Gerresheimer, you will ensure the safe, stable and efficient operation of highly automated production lines in the pharmaceutical sector. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to maintain quality standards and continuously improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guarantee uninterrupted operation of automated production lines.
• Adjust process parameters to achieve consistent product quality and safety.
• Participate in commissioning of new equipment and processes.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Detect, analyse and resolve technical problems in processes and machinery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to repair defects on highly automated equipment.
• Work with vision systems to enhance line performance.
• Propose technical improvements to reduce downtime and increase safety.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and document standardised solutions.
• Contribute to training sessions and knowledge transfer within the team.
• Adhere to all safety regulations while maintaining high quality standards in pharmaceutical production.

Required profile

• Secondary vocational or higher education in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial automation or a related field.
• Experience with automated production lines is an advantage.
• Familiarity with vision systems and industrial automation is a plus.
