Project Manager - Real Estate & Construction

About the role

A company is looking for a Project Manager to lead and oversee real estate and construction projects from initial planning to final handover. The ideal candidate has strong construction management experience, excellent leadership skills and a deep understanding of local regulations and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end residential, commercial and industrial real estate and construction projects
• Develop project plans, budgets, timelines and schedules, keeping delivery within scope, time and budget
• Oversee all construction phases, including site research, resource allocation and technical coordination
• Lead cooperation with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, investors and supervisory engineers
• Ensure quality standards, safety regulations and local construction laws are followed
• Run tendering, negotiate contracts, control costs and adjust budgets
• Coordinate with municipalities and state institutions on permits, documentation and legal compliance
• Prepare financial projections, monitor costs and report accurately on the budget
• Produce progress reports and presentations for management and investors
• Inspect contractor and subcontractor work and quality control of materials and works
• Handle scope changes, including evaluation, approval and contract amendments
• Prepare full project documentation and the final handover report / as-built documentation
• Lead, motivate and guide the project team

Required profile

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in real estate or construction project management
• Strong knowledge of local construction regulations, permits and safety standards
• Fluent in Macedonian and English; knowledge of Albanian or Danish is a plus
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, risks and multiple stakeholders
