Release Manager

About the role

Quipu, the dedicated IT company of the ProCredit group, is seeking a Release Manager to oversee software releases across multiple banking platforms. The role ensures releases are delivered on time, within scope, and comply with banking regulations and internal quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the release calendar for all banking applications and coordinate timelines with development, QA, operations, and business teams.
• Conduct release readiness reviews, go/no‑go meetings, and ensure compliance with ITIL, security standards (PCI DSS, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, environment readiness, and manage emergency releases or hotfixes for critical systems.
• Identify release risks, develop rollback and contingency plans, and monitor production stability post‑deployment.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders, prepare post‑release reports, and maintain audit documentation.

Required profile

• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience with ITIL Release & Change Management, Agile/DevOps practices, and banking domain knowledge (digital channels, ISO 20022, security and compliance standards).
