Senior AI-Augmented Engineer

About the role

Join Itecor, an international boutique IT consultancy, as a Senior AI-Augmented Engineer. You will own end‑to‑end solution delivery, from problem definition through production, working primarily on backend systems while contributing across the full stack when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions and cloud infrastructure in a production environment.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, automation, and event‑driven architectures such as RabbitMQ and Change Data Capture.
• Implement comprehensive testing (unit, integration, end‑to‑end) and ensure reliability, performance, security, and observability.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive pragmatic engineering decisions.

Required profile

• Extensive engineering experience with a production‑oriented mindset.
• Strong expertise in a compiled language (preferably Go) and solid relational database knowledge, especially PostgreSQL.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Ruby) and familiarity with frontend technologies (TypeScript, Angular, React).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
