Senior Network Engineer – Multi‑site WAN & Security

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation and support of multi‑site WAN solutions. The role involves working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver secure, high‑performance network infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy multi‑site WAN architectures, including MPLS and SD‑WAN.
• Configure, troubleshoot and optimise Cisco switching and routing platforms.
• Implement and manage FortiGate firewalls and other multi‑vendor security devices.
• Provide onsite troubleshooting and technical support for complex network issues.
• Collaborate with customers to set expectations, ensure service quality and resolve incidents.
• Document network designs, configurations and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or large multi‑site organisation.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to manage expectations.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.

Required skills

• Multisite/WAN design and implementation.
• Cisco switching and routing.
• FortiGate firewall configuration and management.
• MPLS and SD‑WAN technologies.
• Experience with multi‑vendor firewalls (FortiGate preferred).
