Senior Product Owner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and autonomous Senior Product Owner to lead the product strategy, roadmap and delivery for our Sportsbook back‑end platform. You will be the primary product authority, defining vision, setting priorities and driving outcomes across engineering, operations and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end product roadmap for the Sportsbook back‑end domain, from discovery through delivery and post‑launch optimisation.
• Define and drive product vision, aligning engineering teams, business stakeholders and leadership.
• Lead product discovery independently, including hypothesis generation, requirements gathering, scoping and solution design.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog and make autonomous prioritisation decisions based on business value, technical feasibility, regulatory requirements and strategic goals.
• Author detailed product specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria with visual aids.
• Drive cross‑functional alignment across engineering, operations, compliance and external partners.
• Define, track and iterate on success metrics for all initiatives.
• Oversee UAT and release readiness, ensuring functional, regulatory and performance standards are met.
• Represent the product in stakeholder forums, communicating progress, risks and decisions.
• Maintain high‑quality product documentation and internal wikis.
• Continuously assess the live product, identify gaps and drive improvements proactively.
• Mentor junior Product Owners and raise overall product practice quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Product Owner or Product Manager experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Deep familiarity with back‑end systems and the gambling/sportsbook industry.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, make high‑impact decisions and be accountable for measurable results.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Experience delivering scalable, compliant, high‑quality software solutions.
