Senior UX/UI Designer

About the role

DEPT® is looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to help establish a new design department in its Skopje office, with hybrid work across Skopje and Budapest. The role sits in the Experience & Engineering unit and will collaborate with DEPT® teams across Europe to deliver high‑quality digital experiences for international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Translate strategy and insights into user journeys, wireframes, and visual interface designs grounded in solid design principles.
• Present concepts to clients and stakeholders, gather feedback, and iterate on solutions.
• Work closely with global DEPT® colleagues to support international client projects.
• Promote a design‑driven culture through knowledge sharing and best‑practice workshops.

Required profile

• 6+ years of UX/UI design experience in an agency or leading brand environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse digital design projects for large brands.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, people‑first attitude.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma.
• Experience building and using Design Systems.
• Motion design skills (e.g., Jitter).
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted design tools.
