System Administrator Specialist

About the role

CrazyLabs is seeking a talented System Administrator Specialist to join its modern IT team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and high‑performing infrastructure while driving AI integration and process automation across internal systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, routers, switches and firewalls in both on‑premise and cloud environments.
• Administer mixed‑OS environments (Windows, Linux, macOS) and manage identity and access solutions, including SSO.
• Oversee cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP and Google Workspace, ensuring data redundancy, disaster‑recovery and backup schedules.
• Serve as escalation point for Tier 2/3 issues, performing root‑cause analysis and long‑term resolution.
• Provide professional, service‑oriented support to end users while meeting SLA commitments.
• Handle employee onboarding/offboarding, hardware provisioning, software deployment and access permissions.
• Document system configurations, network topology, SOPs and end‑user guides.
• Identify and implement AI tools, automated agents and AI‑powered workflows to improve IT support.
• Build scripts and automations for repetitive maintenance tasks using Python or PowerShell.
• Implement and manage security measures, conduct regular audits, vulnerability scans and support SOC 2/GDPR compliance.
• Act as a key contact for security incident response and remediation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in IT systems administration, network engineering or advanced technical support.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing protocols, firewalls and network security standards.
• Hands‑on experience with Jira, MDM solutions and virtualized environments.
• Proficiency with modern AI tools, prompt engineering and scripting/automation languages (Python, PowerShell).
• Proven ability to diagnose, isolate and resolve complex multi‑system infrastructure issues.
• Understanding of identity/access management, SSO and endpoint protection.
