Transportation Analyst

About the role

Join Lear’s new Skopje Epicenter as a Transportation Analyst, supporting centralized scheduling and transport management for seating plants across Europe and Africa. You will be the main point of contact for carriers, customers, and suppliers, ensuring shipments are delivered on time and in compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor shipments for Lear facilities in Europe, guaranteeing timely delivery.
• Maintain compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.
• Serve as the primary liaison for carriers, customers, and suppliers.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve shipment issues or delays.
• Keep accurate shipment records, including tracking, invoices, and compliance documentation.
• Analyze shipment performance metrics and produce regular reports.
• Audit freight invoices for accuracy.
• Propose and implement operational improvements for the control tower.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or a related field (Logistics preferred).
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as Spanish are a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in a control‑tower environment or with a freight forwarder.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to two shift patterns (06:00‑14:00 or 14:00‑22:00).

Required skills

• Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
