Damage Estimator & Claims Specialist

About the role

HMD Trucking is looking for a Damage Estimator & Claims Specialist to join its Skopje office. The role involves preparing accurate damage estimates for trucks and trailers, reviewing third‑party estimates, and supporting the end‑to‑end handling of transportation claims.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed damage estimates for trucks and trailers using photographs, accident reports and supporting documents.
• Conduct desk reviews of third‑party repair estimates to verify labor, parts, procedures and total costs.
• Identify inaccurate, excessive or unnecessary charges and recommend appropriate adjustments.
• Review accident photos, repair supplements, invoices and related claim documentation.
• Communicate with repair facilities, insurance carriers, adjusters, vendors and internal departments.
• Assist with property damage and vehicle claims from initial reporting through resolution.

Required profile

• Professional experience preparing truck and trailer damage estimates.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating third‑party repair estimates.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes, labor operations and parts.
• Ability to assess damage accurately from photographs and documentation.
• Claims handling or insurance industry experience.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple claims simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with estimating software such as Adjust Rite.
