Accountant – Full-Time Position

About the role

We are expanding our team at University American College Skopje. The Accountant will be responsible for recording transactions, preparing financial statements, and supporting internal and external audits.

Key responsibilities

• Record accounting transactions and prepare payment orders.
• Prepare and close annual and consolidated financial statements and reports.
• Produce financial and management reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Reconcile bank accounts, customer and supplier balances.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Review accounting documentation and supporting records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments on financial matters.
• Support internal and external audits and resolve discrepancies.
• Participate in the student enrollment process and perform other accounting tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (UACS alumni preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Certified Accountant license is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Professionalism, work ethic, flexibility and adaptability.
