Business Systems & Automation Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised, technically skilled and proactive Business Systems & Automation Specialist to connect, automate and optimise our SaaS applications and operational processes across multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Connect and integrate multiple SaaS platforms using APIs, webhooks, and no‑code/low‑code tools to ensure accurate data flow.
• Design, implement and maintain automated workflows that reduce manual tasks, including task creation in ClickUp and email‑triggered processes.
• Develop operational dashboards and reports in Power BI or Looker Studio to visualise attendance, productivity, compliance and other KPIs.
• Implement intelligent notifications, alerts and exception‑reporting systems for attendance, clock‑in/out discrepancies and overdue actions.
• Explore and integrate AI solutions (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to automate email processing, data extraction and task generation.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering business process automation and SaaS integrations.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non‑technical colleagues.

• Automation platforms: Make.com, Zapier, n8n, Microsoft Power Automate.
• API integration, webhooks, data mapping.
• AI tools: ChatGPT, Claude.
• Dashboarding: Power BI, Looker Studio.
• Task/project management: ClickUp.
• Programming/scripting: SQL, Python, JavaScript.
• Microsoft 365, Outlook, SharePoint.
• Familiarity with HR/field service tools such as BigChange, RotaCloud, Hubstaff.
